Product Description

Working with slotted screws and fasteners can be difficult especially in tight spots.  If your tired of dropping screws and wasting time trying to get a screw started in hard to reach areas, it's time to get the Klein K34 Screw Holding Screwdriver! The unique split blade design allows you to wedge the tip of the screwdriver in the screw's slot and hold it firmly.  This Klein Tools screwdriver is branded VACO and is made in the USA.

The Klein K34 Holds Flat Head Screws with a Split Wedge Tip

To hold a screw firmly with the K34, you place the tip into the screw's slot like a traditional screwdriver. Then you push the handle's sleeve forward towards the tip of the screwdriver which forces the slotted tip to wedge itself into a screws slot.  The tip starts at 0.043" thick and expands to 0.085". After you get the screw started you can either pull the sleeve back or just pull the screwdriver off the screw.

The 1/4" slotted screwdriver is 7-3/4" long and has a 4" heat-treated tempered steel slotted shank. The handle is comfortable and tough thanks to its smooth amber plastic construction.

If you need to use slotted screws in awkward, hard-to-reach places, save yourself time and get the Klein K34 Slotted Screwdriver!

I needed a way to hang onto a non-magnetic screw fastener after having loosened it with a regular screwdriver, or to help start it during assembly. This one works great! It fits the head of the screw on my carburetor in question. Just be careful as this screw driver is not designed to loosen or tighten screws. [1/25/2018]

This tool is just what was needed to remove and install air bleeds in a Quick Fuel carb. Break the bleeds loose and finish tightening with traditional flat blade. This tool shines when looking to secure the bleed after it has been loosened and extracting it without dropping it down the Venturi. Same goes for getting the air bleed started into the carb body.
